After decades of professional work, I began thinking seriously about what I wanted the next chapter of my life to look like.
I realised I didn't want retirement to mean simply stopping, sitting back and eventually losing the sense of purpose that comes from building and learning. I wanted something different: more freedom, more flexibility, time to travel and the ability to keep working on projects that genuinely interest me.
That is what led me to explore online business, digital marketing and digital assets — particularly business models built around recurring income.
Why I created this website
My goal is not to present a magic formula or promise easy money. There are plenty of websites making those kinds of claims, and I don't believe that is a responsible way to approach retirement planning.
Instead, I want to share what I learn as I investigate practical online business models and build digital assets. That includes the opportunities, the learning curve, the challenges, the tools and the lessons that come from actually putting ideas into practice.
I believe an online project can potentially become more than an income experiment. A website, content library, audience and digital brand can become assets that continue to develop over time.
What matters to me
Retirement should create freedom without removing the sense of purpose that comes from learning, creating and contributing.
I want to build projects that can fit around travel, family and the lifestyle I want rather than dictate the lifestyle I have.
Online income requires learning, consistent effort, testing and patience. There are no guaranteed results.
Who I hope to help
This website is aimed primarily at people approaching retirement or already enjoying retirement who are asking a similar question:
"What could I build that gives me a reason to keep learning and creating, while also giving me more freedom?"
